Pretty good in all honesty, the romance is nice, though I thought Juno was annoying at times. The animation is also pretty stellar and the characters are really compelling too.

I think that's one of many reasons why Oshii's take on Ghost in the Shell is so compelling and inimitable. It inspired The Matrix and has FAR OUTLASTED it (and its own live action adaptation) in terms of cultural relevancy. Beneath the shell, there's a very sentimental ghost!

Finished my rewatch of YuYu Hakusho and it really renewed my appreciation for season 4 as a strong series of character studies. Mukuro is such a good late addition to the cast that helps to round out Hiei's arc while being so compelling on her own.

The Strongest Savior's Second Chance by shiryu and Youkan Oota isn't the most original story, but I still found myself enjoying it. Eric's drive to protect his loved ones in his second life makes the series particularly compelling. Youkan Oota's artwork is also beautiful!

Unfortunately a lot of love interests are not compelling characters, but Tifa has a compelling story and is a strong character in her own right, not just a prop for Cloud. In fact she takes center stage over the course of the story, she’s someone you can actually get invested in.
