@bromojumbo It’s been so long since I played Spectrobes! I absolutely loved the first and second, I wish I got to play the third. The battle system needed some improvements in each of the games, but I loved the fossil mechanics how many creatures you could get. The designs went hard!

Such a poor little Ichthyosaur 🤣 #memes #ichthyosaur #fossils
I really hope we get good fossil Pokémon in the new games. Gen 8’s idea of making them be put together wrong was a cute nod to how many mistakes the real world has made with paleontology, but those designs were so ugly. X.x. Gimmie cool and cute extinct animals again.
¡Salimos en Gigantes! Muchas gracias por incluirnos en esta entrega, que además de informativa, tiene un diseño muy lindo.

Meet Strophodus rebecae, a new shark from the Cretaceous of Colombia. Although so far only teeth have been found, they're distinctive enough to place in the extinct family †Hybodontidae. https://t.co/M0NDDqIw4P #SciNews #FossilFriday 🎨 by Jorge Blanco
I can't remember if I've released this online or not yet but, anyway, here's the full extent of my Pervushovisaurus vs. juvenile Cimoliopterus #paleoart piece for #FossilFriday. This dates back to 2020, so the juvenile pterosaur gauntlet isn't #PrehistoricPlanet inspired.
For this #FossilFriday here are some vintage Soviet-era #paleoart poscards.

Exploring Museum Collections 📍 Coleman Fossil Site
This Sumterville site was likely once a sinkhole near a freshwater habitat. It produced ~5,100 cataloged specimens from a variety of species, incl. small mammals like Sigmodon bakeri & Microtus aratai.

Should we choose something flashy like Kaiwhekea or shark-toothed dolphins? What about the biggest like moa nunui South Island giant moa or smallest like a trilobite. Maybe something historically or scientifically impt, or something budding palaeos can find like a fossil mollusc?
