The main reason I have still a DeviantArt is to download Krita bundles (packs with different types of assets like gradients, palettes, brushes and patterns), but I usually make modified presets of the brushes and new patterns and gradients myself to adapt them to me. :]

It's called Color Lining

Legit make the lines you want and on a separate masking layer, you can apply any colors or gradients you want; then you can change the opacity on either layer for more~
I personally did it a lot to make the overall colors stand out more; shades or not 😅
