also, since quite a few people were interested in seeing my progress shots! i totally forgot to take screenshots while i was working BUT here's the lineart of the piece in the op ✨

Then comes doing the complete piece.

1st is general layout/super rough. Been doing this with my drawing as of late and it helps a lot.
2nd is sketch. Important stage for me.
3rd is lineart. Hard but enjoyable.
4th is flat color. Then after is shading and such.
