Finished Lain last night.
I feel compelled to rewatch it, not that I didn't understand it, I grasped the cyberpunk themes of identity and escapism pretty quickly and became infatuated with the aesthetics, but I feel I'd get a newfound appreciation for it with the finale in mind.
