i went and saw DETECTIVES VS. SLEUTHS from longtime Johnnie To partner Wai Ka-fai and man, that movie was fuckin great. very smartly directed, bonkers fun script and great performance by Sean Lau. if you like his collaborations with To like MAD DETECTIVE you gotta check it out
