Dante & friends read like they're normal human size, but they're actually over 8 heads tall and proportioned like NBA players. DMCV characters have realistic proportions so they feel like cosplayers compared to past games
also with the generic head base I can essentially play around with the features and block out different proportions

Idk about improvement but I hella sure, the body proportion is one of things I improve
2008: Back then I still used to sketch on paper and scan it to color. I didn't have a good concept for muscle anatomy back then.
2015: Was so into the orc armors and axes. Started to get the hang of musculature.
2018: Started to simply a bit and beef up muscle proportions.

Gonna be trying really hard to practice consistancy in my characters proportions.
a few examples down below are all images of the same character, but the facial structure and body type are slightly different. its especially clear with the last two.
