Played a wee bit of Dig Dug on the C64 the other day. It's one of those early conversions that was quite faithfully done (as far as I can remember.. 🤔 Damn, now I want to go back to the arcade version to verify that.) 😋 This and Mr Do feel like they hatched from the same brain.

I agree about the graphic visuals BUT I don't think the artstyle of the arcade version was bad.

I'm more worried about the fighter in the front, on the box-art, looking like he's constipated. 😋 ..I suppose we should be grateful that they put some decent effort into porting this one to the C64. Some of the other arcade ports we had around that time were *terrible.* 😐
