I'm actually surprised at how much I've improved since last year. I think doing more color work helped me be more confident in composition and the creative process in general, way I see it I can only get better

Further insight into the process- sketch and flat colour. Scraps probably changed the most, making him softer and rounder and also changing his plastic-bag parachute to a fabric backpack as the collection aspect was important. The first pose lacked energy, so I changed it!!

Other steps in the creation process- sketching and flat colour. Things changed a bit here and there, like giving him more rounded shoulders, thickening the rubber bands, forgoing the beard, and changing the length of his paper. I'm happy with the results!

I had a really good art year! I actually cut out lineart from my drawing process and just establish my sketches really well and it helped me so much with motivation and to really finish things :]
