ok here’s the haikyuu fan making this abt haikyuu but the satisfaction concepts remind me of sakusa’s panel. if gojo believes he did everything he could within his power & still goes out thinking he could be done at any time.. maybe that’s satisfaction + reaching enlightenment

he certainly was humbled after toji but he had never met anyone as challenging since, so he’s still confident in his strength. he isolates himself but is less lonely bc he has ppl he cares for. so when sukuna challenges him, he comes closer to that initial satisfaction again

i love the idea of enlightenment being gojo’s character arc. when he was younger, he was even more arrogant bc he never faced a real challenge, until toji. it was at the brink of death when he reached that pleasurable + satisfying revelation that he is the honored one.
