In retrospect, I like how X-Men: Disassembled kinda cleared the deck for Rosenberg to tell his “last X-Men story” with a smaller cast that still represented various eras in the comics. Plus Salvador Larroca is another legendary X-Men artist, it was good to see him return.

“American manga” is the term I give to Joe Madureira’s amazing style. It has the charm of over the top Japanese character design, with the gnarly grit and harsh angles of 1990s American comics.

Marvel, Battlechasers, Udon, Darksiders; JoeMad is consistently one of my favorites.

The Titans of Tomorrow arc from the 2003 series is the one time an artist brought over some the cartoon Cyborg stylings over to the comics.
Too this day I'm shocked more artist don't bring over the see through blue to his costume.
