I have a love/hate relationship with backgrounds. There's a lot to navigate compositionally to avoid taking the focus off the central characters, but on the other hand, they're an excuse for stars, clouds, and Pretty Colors.

I ended up leaving only the branches just to make sure focus was on the character and there was nothing too distracting around him.

I added more details to the grave and the clouds in the background. Added more accessories, and blurred grass closer to the viewer for depth
