Né 28 août 1833, Sir Edward Burne-Jones est un peintre préraphaélite britannique.
On peut admirer une de ses œuvres "La roue de la fortune" (la 1ère des 4 ici) au musée d'Orsay (Paris).
Il meurt à Londres le 17 juin 1898 à l'âge de 64 ans.

OTD in 1833 Edward Burne Jones was born. He & Morris met as undergraduates at Oxford and became lifelong friends. This Burne Jones window design for All Saints Church, Cambridge shows St Radagunda & was one of Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co's first commissions for stained glass.
