This has been good practice even if it'll probably deform like garbage when I do bones. I guess I'll try to do the head first... though I kinda like the Awtter head. Tempted to just dup it and not make the model public or something.

An attempt at a color scheme. One character sheet is done!

These are the two most recent things I've done, so this was my attempt at recreating my old style with some small changes.
If you like this, obviously I can still do "my" style, and my new style wouldn't be much different! I just want to feel loose and have fun again.

Beastmaster Z'yoon is a Half Feir woman formerly of Zysun. Abandoned at the foot of the Red Druid by her parents in an attempt to placate his wrath, she was adopted by his tribe. Now a master of beasts, she's become a major antagonist for the Octvatian Colonies.

I was feeling a bit mid about the finished painting, then I found my first attempt from back in 2019.
Gotta love that progress.

Julie was a common sketch subject during my high school years as well. Once I started drawing with GIMP, Julie naturally became a subject I wanted to try drawing in that capacity. My first attempts weren't great but hey, growing pains and all that.

Julie's characterization as being an adventurous but naive everygirl who just wants to make friends and be a dancer came in pretty early too, as I had wanted to make a Dancer Lord before other projects would attempt likewise. It helped solidify her design for years to come.

Welp I managed to win on the 2nd attempt VS Hau, with only these 2 remaining. I'll have to admit that the 2 crits from Omastar on the Tauros and Decidueye were REALLY REALLY lucky

ok i repainted it, this method is really a lot faster... i'll look into it later🤔😵‍💫😵‍💫 The first one is a previous attempt to draw, the second is a redraw.
