After a while I wanted to attempt to redesign Brissa with more creative liberty and it slowly started to resemble the current design of Liere right now. Shifting to the more impish stature to re-adding in the more expressive eyes, hair and then tweaking the proportions. (cont)

I've illustrated the birds of paradise for the New Guinea field guide (except for the crow-like Manucodes). I made a montage of all the males (proportionally scaled). This is the most incredible bird group, have seen a few species, hope for more.

Here's my robo dragon, Flare, again.

I keep making minor tweaks to her design. I made her wings smaller and detached from the body. I tweaked some proportions and removed her "hair". I didn't think it was really working. It just looked tacked on. I'm pretty happy with her now.

It took me like 50 tries to get the proportions right to begin with, like head to body ratio to have it work decently and the end result still looks like ass
