I usualy look at concept art or watch a movie when artblocked. Otherwise, i just choose a random pantone color and paint a new character mainly using that color, like these

I used to suffer from artblock where I don't draw for months. I found that redrawing something simple or doing a Dtiys where everything (pose, outfit, expresssion) is laid out for you helps keep you in "art mode" and motivation hits back fast
