In Mario Kart Wii, the directory where all the vehicle / character models are stored has a lot of of files ending with "_2". We've talked about how these all have early designs for the vehicles...

However, they have early versions of the character models too!

since BOTH of my iPads are out of commission, and all my com files are on there, I had to take yet, another day off.

Anyway, I am not going to tell you what this is for, but pick one (poll in comments)

Carnage sprite frames ( from the original artwork files ) used in SNES 'Spider-Man and the X-Men in Arcade's Revenge'. The images in the .LBM format files were processed into SNES format sprite data using our 'scanner' utility program. Converted from 16x16 pixel blocks. #pixelart

i will now force you to look at my fireknight art i did bc i wanted to practice side profiles
(obviously it's not perfect but i think it looks nice :])
