Line and flat color ✨ in the prev post, I use simple 2 color gradients (lighter color + transparency) on top of the flat colors. I also use small white round gradients on things like the glasses or Burst's forehead to give a bloom effect

I recently finished this one. I struggled trying to understand the lighting and the colors. I was not prepared for how difficult it would be emotionally to draw a tragic scene from a story and I would avoid working on it to avoid those feelings.
