The illustrations were in charge of U35 (). You will surely know his/her work as he/her illustrated the novels Shinka no Mi and did the character designs for Shiroi Suna no Aquatope.

Spicy take? I much, much prefer the artwork from the original A Link to the Past compared to the GBA port's reillustrated pieces. I love the old school charm! The newer ones feel almost... too polished to me.
