When I say things about balancing the colors/saturation it's because it makes the image a lot easier to understand, even in a gray scale.
(This is very important when doing backgrounds or special effects)

The last one is an old drawing where I didn't aply this.

Decided to take the plunge and got for a bit cheaper- think its still on offer. Had a wee mess around. One of the easier 3d shape apps I’ve tried. If I can just get it to do what I’ve planned now.....:)

Incase anyone is curious about how the expressions are done-
I just add the blank face version ontop, copy and paste the stuff from the original image and modify.
It's so much easier editing expressions with a template.

As you can see I adapted or simplified certain design elements to suit the new style and to make it easier to turn into a costume! 💛✨

All that's left is to neaten it up and repeat these steps for the back and sides!

💛• The empty space in the blade is so that there won't be any suction, thus easier to slice things off without getting stuck!

💛• The chain on the hilt is so you can easily hang it onto anything!

Anatomy, clothing and colors are pretty fire here. Face is definitely off putting though. 1000x easier to spot once you flip the image
