@JamesPond47 @MarkRJones1970 Yeah. It's funny how many 8-bit titles got away with being absurdly cruelly hard, and yet we put up with it. (But, being young, and getting only a game or two a month, it was probably good that we couldn't complete it in a day.) 😁
Naive little fools.
Do they not know that a quartet of heroes saved an entire world using turnips? They want to pay 106 bells?
Fine.
When they need these precious veggies the most they won't have them. With their greed they can let Wart and his gang, The 8-Bits, win.

Atari versions of Shadow of the Beast. ST, Lynx, 8-bit, and my Legacy of the Beast for 2600 as comparison.

@SalvaCostanzo @TonyWilson72 @RetroGamerDaz @gamesyouloved @Indie_RetroNEWS @EverythingC64 @C64TimeLine @C64Reloaded @C_64 I love that the 8-bit era was a time when one guy could have a great game idea, and do the whole thing themselves. Sometimes you can tell that the sound or graphics weren't high on the list. But Impossible Mission did them all so well. The graphics are simple, but look *so* good.
here's the fun gang from deltarune in the style of the 8-bit sprites from danganronpa! (there's also animated versions of these sprites i did but twitter compression did them dirty so i won't be posting them)
Next up is Q-Bert by Parker Brothers for the Atari 8-bit computer scanned. Hop around and change the colors of a cube pyramid to match the desired color while avoiding all sorts of weird baddies. https://t.co/RoxaugTqKs
@MarkRJones1970 I loved all the 8-bit Dan Dare games I played. They had such a beautiful cartoon-y quality about them. And the cover-art that adorned Crash + Zzap for them was gorgeous. 👍
Taking a break from working on this, but after hearing an 8-Bit version of Zero, I wanted to do up a mockup. Not done yet, but here
States and Capitals for the Atari 8-bit computer scanned. Not really sure what else to say about this other than it has some groooovy box art. Not really sure what it has to do with states or capitals though. https://t.co/K8zsViNrsw
Choplifter for the Atari 8-bit computers scanned. Classic Broderbund game that was ported to tons of computers and consoles. Fly a copter to free and rescue prisoners while avoiding being blasted by tanks and other planes. https://t.co/8blZKh5qTi
