#anyonebutmoebiusmonday Ryuichiro Kutsuzawa, mostly known for his work on a handful of 90s videogames including Panzer Dragoon and Front Mission Alternative
I might use these designs for some future personal projects, I think old Advice Animals since their so simplistic are great character design prompts. This isn't for Animeme, btw. I just had a need to draw Anit-Joke Chicken & Bad Joke Eel as bad outdated 90s comedian outfits.
I'm abstaining from using 90s anime and videogame art as reference (art, writing, etc). Just like a nomadic eremite or an enterprising gold prospector - I sense a great opportunity by reducing mainstream overlap. Being niche got me here so why not try with more effort?
I was commissioned to design a mascot character for a VHS-project.
Came up with a late-80s-early 90s amateur videographer, who is also an alien.
She's called Moumou (as in "某某" lit. such-and-such)
This is for Rosie and company’s story. This playlist has a grand mix of 80s, 90s, modern, and Leonard Cohen—random and, more often than not, abysmally sad vibes.

I decided to draw a 90s cartoon dog family (coughcoughBLUEYcough). At first I wanted to draw the full character, but that was proving a challenge so I shortened it to just the heads. This helped nail down the feel I wanted.

This different a lot from SEGA, who put out a lot of JRPGs in Europe throughout the late 80s and early 90s.
