Found some nudes to post up here instead of my usual #cityscape and #landscape #paintings. I think about 10% of my paintings are figurative? I like the challenge but I’m not so much a “people person” I guess ahaahahah #art I have a couple more to change up the timeline
my friend commissioned me to draw this. they're the same person who commissioned me to draw this series of cityscapes a few months back (i don't think i ever posted the fire version on here)
Commission for @Fantastic_Luis.
@SelphyMelody and @DojaCat with a cityscape.
Thanks for commissioning me👍
Thread: Charles Demuth (1883-1935) was an American watercolorist who connected European modernism to the American art scene. He created beautiful flower paintings, striking cityscapes & pictures of his circle.

I love cityscapes but I don’t love rendering them, so instead of working on my current cityscape here’s a bunch of old ones

Blender Experiment 20200912
So I'm in the very, very beginning steps of learning #Blender, though I am still focusing on #generative art. I'm using a Truchet tilemap generated with #Processing and applying it as a displacement map, creating this cityscape.

Detroit cityscapes by painter Zoltan Sepeshy (1898-1974)
The Hungarian-born painter studied in Budapest and Vienna before emigrating to the US in 1921. He eventually moved to Detroit and succeeded Eliel Saarinen as the 2nd President of the Cranbrook Academy of Art from 1946-66.
Oscar Verpoorten 1895-1948 b. Antwerp, Flemish painter, engraver & teacher. He trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, but was largely self-taught as a painter. His subjects included harbour views, marine studies, cityscapes, riverscapes, portraits & still-lifes.
Currently working on @CJLloyd88 ‘s commission for their character Elric.
Enjoying the process of drawing a New York alleyway since I almost never do cityscapes. 👀✨ Learning lots on this one.
