1st drawing took me about a whole day or two and the 2nd and 3rd drawings took about 4 hrs. I'm still getting used to drawing digitally after drawing traditionally for almost forever

I find colour really hard! I agonise over it. I try to use it deliberately, I also spend AGES trying out different combos, digitally colouring roughs, painting roughs on paper, going round in circles…. It’s painful, but hopefully it was worth it… 9 days until he’s published!

This is my submission to the contest and my response to the arguments.

My creation method for this was: On the prompt I added the image of an artwork I created without AI + description and style. Then I digitally adjusted and painted the final result.
