Chip's personality was heavily inspired by many harem leads in anime like Rito Yuuki from To-LOVE-Ru. I thought it'd be interesting to have a harem lead-like character and NOT magically pick up girls. The result was a much more relatable character.

In BFB's intro, there's an unused graphic that can be found within the logo that says "Every Other Friday". This implies that the end of the intro was originally intended to show that bfb would come out every other friday, which it did in BFB 1-12

Funfact: After doing the lineart I thought that Freddy looked to sympathic and emotional for an animatronic.

Miamo's original name was "Myamo Shigame" (which I thought sounded pretty cool as a young lad). She served as Ayame's rival/enemy, and vise versa. Due to differences in opinions, they also got into fights.

Ayame was originally named "Kinta" to rhyme with her older brother's name "Ginta". Realizing that it was actually a boy's name, it was later changed to "Ayame" (personally one of my favorite Japanese names).
