If you were a merfolk/siren, what song would you use to lure adventurers to untimely doom? 🧜‍♀️🧜🧜‍♂️🎶

Another one, but with the merfolks and their human 💖

I hesitate to differentiate my merfolk from humans with behaviors that "evolved" along a different path. I mean... they did, it's like comparing Pakicetus to Ambulocetus. But I've always been worried that if they ACT differently than us, it'll reinforce racist narratives/tropes.

A whole bunch of concept art for my campaign! The first two are for the same creature (I went with the second design) and the last is of a merfolk city

So of course I had to draw what my merfolk bard could look like at level 20.

I’ve been reading a couple stories about merfolk, so I’ve drawn a merman that I’ve named Kelvin.

In Irish myth, merfolk each wear a cohuleen druith, a magic hood or cap that enables them to dive underwater. These garments are generally described as red & covered in feathers. If they lose this item while on land, they can't return to the water.
