yeah I start greyboxing level layout first to figure out the rooms and after that I start to get an idea of the kinds of props I want. So I'll normally build them inside the mock up rooms and only after UV mapping+atlasing them will I then Isolate them like in my 1st tweet.

I didn't know that limitation about Dall-E . About the only time I use squares in disco diffusion is to make mock album covers, it definitely affects the image, aside from album covers I usually do not get good results from squares.

This time, I tweaked the thickness of the brush a bit, and experimented with shading (it was quite fun). The background was imported, however.
