There is a scrapped Winnie the Pooh series pilot that was a collaboration between Disney and Cartoon Saloon (Wolfwalkers, The Breadwinner, etc) and seeing the concept art and knowing it was scrapped is painful.
Characters in children's literature who aren't gay but are so loving and intimate with each other that they might as well should be.
They include:
Ratty and Mole
Winnie the Pooh and Piglet
Moomintroll and Snufkin
The Tigger Movie is seriously one of the most beautiful Winnie the Pooh films.
So I was thinking..
what if Nippon Animation made a Winnie the Pooh series as apart of the World Masterpiece Theater series?

@GoAwayGreen There was a series in development around Christopher Robin’s release but never moved forward. My guess, they decided to give it a bit more time after the movie wasn’t a massive blockbuster success (which Pooh will never be, which is exactly why Disney+ is the perfect spot for it)
Don't know who made the original Pooh Badguy, but just know your legacy lives on...
