My first ever C64 game had me head over heels in love with this brilliant computer from day one. Astounding in 1983, it’s still fantastically playable today. One of my all-time favourites & a true classic.

EHIS took the Commodore classic, added tons of options, refined the graphics & gameplay, added the ability to name your own players (loads of fun!) & came up with a fantastic new footy game.

Haha.. I tried it on the SuperCPU in the VICE emulator (20MHz). It's crazy fast and just unplayable. Was fun to try though. 😁

I was amazed at how well this game ever ran on a standard C64 though. I first saw it on the Amiga, and never thought there would be an 8bit version. 🕹️

Nexus 1985

I loved Gridiron, but most attempts to make a computer game of it failed miserably. The first good one was this – an excellent sim with a well-balanced combination of strategy and action. Just like the real thing.
