I haven’t even heard about Another Eden until the Chrono Cross crossover trailer, but this looks amazing. The fact that Masato Kato and Mitsuda are involved in the game is amazing. Love how the cast looks in referencing their 1999 iterations!

Sand and snow were definitely something we struggled with too. The tiles went through a lot of iterations and we tweaked the colours lots, but in the end, we decided to let the objects that spawn in those biomes tell the story, such as cacti and snow-covered logs/trees, etc.

Added a 2nd instance of this image at the bottom and brought out the details in her eyes in both iterations. I added the white and blue of her eyes to break up the reds and bring out more of the blue of the overall composition.

On a lighter note, Das is the one who get many of her iterations killed (he self inserted himself as her patron troll, asshole) and thus doomed the timelines, so she as a sprite is just blocking him at any given opportunities lmao
