Anyways just to repeat: Working on patterns for future product. Turned them into phone wallpapers because it took me zero effort. They're free. Go nuts if you wanna use them for your own stuff.

anime is the title given to a specific genre of cartoon. This genre originated in Japan but is still viable elsewhere.

All of these are anime.
Anime is simply the name of the product. All of it is a cartoon.
