It may seems tedious (and it kinda is), and not everyone may have the patient for it, but practicing the inner anatomy of the body does help a lot to get the feeling of surface anatomy, quite the eye opener to b honest.

Digitizing is often tedious, but fun. I go through and decide what type of stitch should be where, what direction they should run, how to layer things for efficiency especially if it's something I'm going to make multiples of... it can take anywhere from 30mins-2hrs per design!
