The problem with using Jump the Shark is he thematically resists upgrades and powerups. He wants to have all his powers from the word go.

But Action Adventure is my favorite genre, with Metroidvania being the crown jewel, and upgrades are core.

(mostly) fixed the pop on the forespike from the last idle. Added a blink and a head turn to mix in.

Thinking of spending January making a shmup of this guy, then parlaying that work over time into platformers, maybe eventually a metroidvania.
