Just read the final issue of Devil's Reign. This event couldn't have ended any better. I feel like this was a perfect conclusion that wrapped everything up smoothly and gave us several instantly iconic moments. Plus it proved that Zdarsky writes the best Kingpin. Period.

#SRB2 Kiryu went through quite the troubled dev cycle. We went through many, many rewrites of his entire moveset before we settled on what you can currently play.
Here's one of his concept sheets back in February 2021, alongside a scrapped Style-Switching sprite set.
2003 Sasha is one that is super close to my heart! She's been through several re-writes, but her design hasn't changed that much.
She's pretty savvy about Science, and while she likes machines, she's not too skilled at inventing.
That said, she has a mystical BG she keeps hidden.
