It feels increasingly stupid and futile to keep talking about Napoleonic history as if nothing is amiss in the world, but I am going to keep it up. Here are some Russians.

It'll be very nice if you take part in it. There's only one participant - me, so it's a bit sad

Russian illustrator Skirill creates masterful, detailed works that could be described as something between the masterful etching and lithograph work of Gustave Dore, H.R. Geiger's gruesome portraits, and a metal-worshipping modern-day graphic artist.
Peaceful protesters being attacked by police, an ongoing pandemic, Americans out of work and a president who is only concerned with staying in power. And Sen Lindsey Graham is holding a hearing about the Russian investigation.

Illustrations from THE NENUPHAR BOOK by author/ illustrator Sveta Dorosheva (b. Ukraine) “a book about people and human world, as seen through the eyes of fairy-tale creatures.” Her earliest inspirations were Russian fairytales, then myth and medieval art. #FairytaleTuesday
I love Russian fairy tales. My favourite is 'The Frog Princess' in which a princess is being held captive in the form of a frog by the immortal Koschei. Her only way out is a prince who has to find a magic needle which will set her free.
