Today is Kaleidoscope Day, the birthday of Sir David Brewster, the Scottish scientist who invented the kaleidoscope. This optical toy creates patterns using reflections cast within a slender tube. The patterns themselves inspire artists who work with bright, colorful shapes.

Sadly in order to make the skins 'move' they have to make things more simple so it's easier for the animators. For example this skin is very obviously more blocky with more defined shapes and colors. I'm sure the artist was informed changes would be made before hand too! :)

Not really art, more of a study/practice, but I still like it.

What I love the most is my improvement in my shapes and forms all the while keeping a certain flow. Also, it is nice to see the small progress that I’ve made over a few months!
