Im like. 50/50 split on it so long as its executed well. I have a Ganon inspired pig and a Jones Vasquez Possum but I feel like it's kind of the same as just making a character themed sona.

So I upscaled the same image 4x and Topaz wins out, easily.

In Topaz I only did upscale (sharpening and de-noise turned off). In PS I used the Preserve Details 2.0 resample option for resize.

Look up refs on Pinterest, &remember that from the head to the pubic bone (crotch) is the same length from the pubic bone to the legs. Elbows = belly button. Curves vs straights. Try not to cover/distort the clothes for refs up if it can be helped.
