Started the first one a while ago but I started to like it less, and knew I wouldn't be satisfied with it so I left it. Then I completely redrew it as the second one and so glad I did, it's much better. I guess the lesson is that it's ok to abandon stuff if you're not feeling it?
Another year, another drawing using my current solar return rising as inspiration: Libra. I went for the mirror instead of the scale. This year has been so harsh on all of us, full of tough lessons. May we learn from them and reap some positive results. #fingerscrossed #libra
Anyway, lesson learned to all would-be mediocre, cynical, no-talented game designers: put a ! on your character's shirt.
And to all talented game designers: play Plok, remember that Bubsy outsold it a kagillion to one, then feel free to light yourselves on fire. I'll join you.

Today is the last day of my Storytelling class by @LarissaMarantz and Caleb Cleveland at OC Art Studios.
The class was so great and I am excited to continue to develop my stories and make more using the lessons they taught in the class.

It’s a “It’s either you or me” kind of world out there, I wonder, when did he learn that lesson? Who was his first kill?

Thanks for commissioning me :D
The lesson I learned tonight is the Flip Horizontal tool in my quick access is /not/ permanent. When I exported the PNG at first I was just....um....excuse me. I flipped that shit at the start---oh that shortcuts for the image, not the canvas. Noted!

Day 12: Ogre Monk
"The first lesson master Gordo always teaches a Sun Spirit monk: Never let your guard down, lest the drunkard on the street decides to show no mercy. I learned that the hard way..."

#AnimationIsForEveryone They can help you grow with values, life lessons, experiences and worlds to explore that not many mediums can do. Animation helps you appreciate Art and film in one single medium. No matter what age you are in, animation does not stop to impress. Thank u.
Animation IS for everyone.
It is and always has been and always will be.
Not a genre, but a medium.
Family friendly doesn't mean kids only.
So long as you can animate it, you can do anything:
Show push visual limits, teach life lessons, show perspective, even change the world.
ANIMATION IS FOR EVERYONE
It's such a weird misconception that it's only for kids. I have seen some incredible Anime that I would NEVER want a kid to see because it's too gruesome.
There are also those that are incredibly deep with many life lessons.
