People are right to celebrate the main series 3D Pokemon models finally getting a glow-up after being recycled for over 8 years but I just know the Switch can still do better if the hardware is utilised to its fullest potential

I’m looking back of the trailer for the new Gen 9 Pokémon, and even though they’re still using the same 3D Pokémon Models like from X & Y, I did notice GF did update the quality for Pokémon like the scales on Serviper, Larvitar’s skin, Magaemite’s polish metal and Lucario’s fur.

Not sure how I feel about the in-game artstyle of the human characters in Gen 9 though, they look perfectly fine in the 2D artwork but something about their 3D models look off and "un-pokemon" like, like the Detective Pikachu human characters.
