You know, looking back, a lot of my flats weren't actually bad. I should really resist the urge to shade in every single drawing I make.
I mean, I guess I saw it as good enough when I at least stylized the background. But even so, I need to accept simple backgrounds too.

I was looking at this render and noticed there's a weird blue fringe around some of the character edges, so it's likely that they rendered the characters and backgrounds separately and then edited them together. I wonder why? 🤔
