The Yellow Jar: Two Tales from Japanese Tradition by Patrick Atangan - Fine stories, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that it need to push some things farther with the art. It’s all fine and good to stay true to the art period you’re going for but It could have been more intense.

Good character design is not easy and the more you wish to push yourself as a creator the more you need to keep up with the times and current work pipelines. This character easily had 3 designs (not represented here) before the final polished one.
