I’ve been in a hard place in the past few months. Multiple family deaths, finding a new house, financial issues, etc. The weight of it all is so immense. I’ve been trying to keep myself busy, to keep my mind distracted. If I stop for a moment, the emotions will come crashing in.

Touchup of an older piece. I was really averse to using pure blacks at the time, but reintroducing them allows for much better total variation. Some lighting issues remain ,but I didn’t want to mess with the tone of the piece.

Also cleaned up some more distracting sketch lines

OK OK I NEVER POSTED THIS BUT! Her design only changed very tiny bit, been making the dots on her side become less and overall I think 3 looks the best, since 5 was distracting before

Do you do the shaky leg or foot >:D

I get distracted easily, and whenever Poli concentrates too hard his leg would shake. I'd sometimes lay my hand on his knee so he'd stop shaking it, but funnily a few seconds after he would shake his other leg without him realising it haha

Axel is super energetic! He’s always on the move cause he gets distracted easily. Video games and things like rock climbing and skateboarding are an easy way to get along with him! He’s quiet at first but when you get to know him he’ll talk your ear off!

value study on basic forms

I think I was trying to do too much at one time with the previous studies so it's probably best to stick with simple forms for now so I can really focus on the value instead of getting distracted by other stuff
