The sub-basement also forms a spatial metaphor. The surface mansion is quaint and genteel. The underground is a paramilitary training ground. This is an apt metaphor for the X-Men’s mission and its combination of gentle optics belying aggressive capability. 5/6

Had this lineart I did a couple weeks ago and I was feeling myself when I did colors earlier on that Joker pic, so figured I'd throw down some flat colors on this.

Also fked around a lot with the blur filter on photoshop to make the background. It's my astetik (aesthetic) :^)
