I don't really like posting WiP stuff, but I'm done with this for now. I'll probably refine/finish it tomorrow & fix the rough perspective.

The river Arveyron is a short tributary of the river Arvea and rises from the base of the Glacier des Bois in Chamonix. In this watercolour of 1781, Francis Towne disregards traditional perspective, and gives an abstract vision of the landscape.

How its done : recreating Greek the design of Louvre K240 vase (Dyonisos procession).
1. Work on separate drawings.
2. Flatten designs to adjust perspective from vase to plane.
3. Draw with different colors on separate layers in both GIMP and Inkscape programs.
4. Recombine.
