In older designs, I had also been toying with these little orange studs around the edges of the darker parts of the costume.

I've been trying to see how the effect of the design changes if I remove those. Paring the look down to the essentials.

Tons of details have been simplified in BIS, presumably to achieve a stronger cartoon look.

Eyes are simpler and lack the "brow shading" of PiT.

Any instance of highlights are reduced or removed in BIS.

The shading of the dress is much softer and less harsh in BIS.
