A commission from a friend in honor of the CCC event making it to FGO NA! It's a little late due to the event dropping on my finals week but I got it done eventually-

"Farewell, my Albrecht."

We don't deserve Meltrylis. 🙏

Knight, Death and the Devil (German: Ritter, Tod und Teufel) is a large 1513 engraving by the German artist Albrecht Dürer, one of the three Meisterstiche (master prints) completed during a period when he almost ceased to work in paint or woodcuts to focus on engravings.

Albrecht Dürer died 1528, almost 500 years ago, but his studies of animals and bugs live on ~ here’s his finely-observed stag beetle ■ up close with a hare ■ and a sceptical-looking stork

This is showing the first layer of dark colours I added using Albrecht Durer water soluble pencils, then I've added water to blend it out!
It's looking quite rough and messy right now, but I will be adding many more layers to get the soft, smooth look I'm after in the background
