Due to the popularity of Arrow's original characters, Andrew Kreisberg(rotting) introduced John Diggle and Felicity Smoak to DC's New 52 line of Green Arrow comics
Diggle was well received and remained throughout the New 52 and Rebirth eras, Felicity lasted 6 issues
