Paint the silhouette of the hair before actually drawing it. Separate the hair into bangs, side pieces, and the back, and figure out how the silhouette looks, so that way youre not erasing every line you draw, and the hair flows more

I think generally playing around with colors is good :) first image is what the original looks like, and the other two are with having an overlay on em!
of course it's just how I draw, but simple doodles can be a good starting point!

Of the 3 OCs I've shown on here:
1.) Jane is the hardest for me to draw, I have trouble with her hair and face/head proportions 😭
2.) Hero is the easiest (intentionally so, cause he's the main character!!)
3.) Lynn is the most fun to draw (I love her hair and her expressions 🙂)
