I love her storyline a lot through all films. She seems like a very emotional character almost disturbing but that make it even more interesting to look after her

Kay Nielsen worked with the Walt Disney Company for 4 years creating concept art that lead to the further development of many Disney films. His work was used in "Fantasia". Sadly, Kay Nielsen died a very poor man & his work was left in the shadows till many years later.

Day 5 of my Mexican legends.

Crazy to think back and see how many funny individuals were around during this golden era of Latin films.

Here is another one of my favs. Can you tell, guess who this is?

Enjoy! https://t.co/fC71NtWeC5

MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE (1932).

A pre-code that eludes me no more! It's not on the level of the major 1930s classics, but the film is well paced and more explicit than I expected. I should know by now with pre-code films.

Starring Bela Lugosi.

100 Joyful Things (that bewitched me aged 1 to 21).

Mario Bava: The greatest horror director of them all, lacing Hammer Gothic with European surrealism & perverse sexuality. Images: my top 4 films.

Alien Art. I just found a homage to "Isle of the Dead" - the painting by Arnold Böcklin (1827-1901), in Ridley Scott's movie "Alien Covenant". Scott's inspiration may have come from H.R. Giger's "Homage to Böcklin" (1977). Giger created the template look for all Alien films.

That's Dancing! 1985 🎥
Marvelous retrospective of famous dance sequences in films. One of my favorites directors: Busby Berkeley who envisioned large scale choreography with kaleidoscope eyes ⭐🔅⭐

These guys have been a long time coming and now they’re officially here! New pins based on beloved scenes in the films. I have been holding off on these so that they would be shipped around Valentine’s Day.

Now that Deadpool 3 is confirmed to be in development. Here are some crossovers I’d like to see in future films.

Disney opened a Canadian studio to push out all of those late 90s direct-to-video sequels. They are mostly underwhelming cash ins. You are not missing out. I am grasping a straws with my Christmas films. I’m dangerously close to firing this bad boy up. 🥴👌

Here are some early sketches of Rosie from A Bug's Life. These were made back in 1996, a year after Pixar released Toy Story and the same year they stopped making commercials and went exclusively into making feature films.

I really loved the Secret of Kells, so when I heard that the same studio would be making another film, I went out of my way to see it at the local artsy-fartsy theater that plays foreign films. When Bronach reappears and gives a final goodbye to her family, I bawled like a baby.

The could have looked way different in both films. What do you think of this concept art for
