I was inspired by the retro anime style experiment from last night's stream, so I gave it another stab today with more shojo influences this time!
I've always wanted to try out these beautiful & classic anime styles. I love how googly & over the top the eyes can be!

As much as I once enjoyed math, there is something paradoxical about a line being the shortest distance between 2 imaginary points.

The paradox is that the "shape" of the imaginary points influences the distance.

I like to go the distance by playing with blended shapes.

Nothing speaks more about who I am than this collection. 🖤🙂

I'm set to show the world the beauty of these Spanish woodlands while exposing myself through the photos.

I find this to be the perfect subject to embody my artistic growth and influences.

UNSEEN on .

QRT with your art and influences.

Okay, let me think.

-Bat shit crazy movies that nobody (probably) have seen, but I love so much and will defend to the death.

-Digesting as much comics, cartoons, games, and art as I can.

-And to add to the first point the world of film.

There was a conversation earlier today about if Firefly had more overt Chinese cultural influences, and this idea wouldn't leave my head. (Yes that's supposed to be Inara. Please excuse the fact that I eyeballed all the colors and did terribly.)

You know what I've just began to realize? A lot of media from the late 90s and early 2000s took a lot of inspiration from monster flicks and horror movies of the 30s-50s. While most of the 2010s and the 2020s seemingly replaced that inspiration with Anime influences.

I ended up drawing Jessa / with a touch of personal artist inspiration from how her music influences me with ideas and aesthetics!! I like designing too much 😅

【SynthV AI】The vocal synth of the day is ANRI!
A warm and dynamic young woman with the voice to match, ANRI loves bubble tea and strawberry mille-feuille, and her musical influences are Aaliyah and Frank Ocean.
Today at last, she releases! Let's all give her a warm welcome ^^

Used to run a Power Rangers rpg, with a bit of Pacific Rim influences sprinkled in. This guy was an NPC I ran that let me make all the best evil capitalism puns;

Superboy & Krypto commission.

They wanted them in a wagon scene ala Calvin and Hobbes. Speaking my language :)

Hard to get those light sky and water blues in the scan. I am really happy with how this one came out. Loved getting to unabashedly channel my Watterson influences :)

Ish. Some of my influences are Al Hirschfeld, Chuck Jones and various comic and animation artists. You might be able to see some of that peeking through.
